At Pilates Pavilion, we believe in nurturing both body and mind, starting with the youngest members of our community. Our free, Montessori-inspired child-minding facility is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 6 years old, allowing you to focus fully on your fitness and well-being.

Each booking includes 80 minutes just for you. Drop off your child and take this time to reconnect - whether it’s enjoying a chat with a fellow member, diving into a book, tackling admin tasks, catching up on work, ordering groceries, or simply embracing a moment of stillness with complimentary fruit or tea.

Our facility is designed with your child’s safety and comfort in mind. Our qualified staff prioritise their well-being, ensuring they are engaged and cared for while you enjoy your session. You won’t find children sitting in front of a screen here. Instead, we offer a variety of fun and educational activities tailored to different age groups, giving them space to explore, create, and play. We also make use of our adjoining mat room for extra movement and engagement, including mini Pilates sessions for little ones. These sessions introduce children to the joy of movement while helping them connect with what mum is doing in class.

Our child-minding service runs in line with our full Reformer Pilates timetable, meaning every scheduled session includes care for your little ones*. Bookings are essential, as spots are limited, and the service will operate based on demand. If no bookings are made for a particular session, the crèche will not be open. This approach allows us to ensure the best possible experience for parents and children, as well as for our crèche educators.

For added peace of mind, our crèche is equipped with live CCTV cameras. You can live-view your child from a screen inside the studio while they are in our care. For privacy and safety reasons, this footage is not accessible outside the studio.

By providing a space where both you and your child can thrive, we make it easier for parents to prioritise self-care while knowing their little ones are in good hands.

*Our goal is to open our creche full-time. We will start off with a few creche sessions, and will gradually add on more until the creche is open full-time.

Crèche Rules:

• Pilates Pavilion is a completely shoe-free space. All shoes must be removed and left outside the crèche door before entry.

• Parents must use the designated crèche door for drop-off and pick-up. Entry from the Reformer and Mat rooms is strictly prohibited.

• For safety reasons, children are not allowed inside the studio, at any time.

• We do not provide nappy-changing services. Please ensure your baby has a fresh nappy before drop-off. If a nappy change is needed during your session, we will notify you.

• Toilet-trained children must use the toilet before entering the crèche. If they need to use the toilet while in our care, we will need to remove you from class.

• Children may bring a water bottle, but no food is allowed in the crèche to maintain cleanliness and prevent allergy risks.

• Crèche staff can not feed children. If your baby is able to hold their bottle, you may give them a bottle before leaving for your session.

• A parent or guardian must remain on Pilates Pavilion grounds for the entire duration of their child’s booking and may not leave the premises.

• Children showing signs of illness, including fever, cough, vomiting, or any contagious condition, will not be permitted in the crèche.

• Any allergies or medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. Parents must provide any necessary medication, such as an EpiPen, if required.

• Children are expected to engage in gentle and respectful play. Aggressive or disruptive behaviour may result in early pick-up and restrictions to further bookings.

• To prevent conflicts or lost items, personal toys are not allowed unless they are comfort items for infants, such as a blanket.

• The crèche promotes active and creative play, so personal devices are not permitted.

• Parents and children must not enter the crèche if it is unattended.

• Parents/carers must collect their child within the 80-minute time limit. Late pick-ups may result in additional charges or restrictions on future bookings.

• Parents/carers must sign their child in and out at every booking.

• The crèche will not be open or staffed if there are no bookings.

• Bookings are essential.

• Bookings close 12 hours before crèche session block.

• If you are on the waitlist and have not been given a spot for the creche, please do not bring your child(s) to the creche as we can not exceed our booking capacity.

  Please note that all crèche rules, policies, and booking procedures will be reviewed 12 weeks after our Grand Opening. Updates or revisions may be made based on usage trends and booking patterns to better accommodate the needs of parents and carers.
